227. Hannah Johnson (Edward5, Joseph4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born on 21 May 1748. Died on 28 Dec 1776.

She married Hezekiah Hulbert, son of Hezekiah Hulbert & Anna Hall, on 11 Apr 1771. Born on 23 May 1749. Died Middletown, Conn., on 19 Jan 1800.

Resided in Oneida County, N. Y. Died in Middletown, Conn. while on a visit.

They had the following children:
i.  Hannah. Born on 20 Dec 1771. Died Holland Patent, N.Y.
She married Daniel Bettes.
ii.  Edward. Born on 18 Aug 1774. Died on 26 Aug 1775.
iii.  Edward. Born on 12 Dec 1776.
He married Martha Huntington, daughter of Rev. Enoch Huntington.

228. Edward Johnson (Edward5, Joseph4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born on 7 Apr 1750. Died lost at sea, in 1785.

Connecticut Records, Dec. 12, 1780: "capt. Jacob Cornwell was appointed to go to New York by floag of truce to procure the exchange of Capt. Edward Johnson now a prisoner there." Connecticut Records, Feb. 24, 1781: Capt. Edward Johnson of East Haddam appointed to command the Weasel, to cruise against the enemies of the United States. He was Captain of a vessel and lost at sea in 1785.

He married Sarah Hurlburt, daughter of Ebenezer Hurlburt & Keturah Pelton, on 15 Jul 1781. Baptized on 3 Mar 1754. Died Salisbury, Conn.

They had the following children:
i.  Edward. Born on 4 Mar 1782. Died on 24 Mar 1783.
ii.  Edward. Born on 2 Sep 1783.

229. Abigail Johnson (Edward5, Joseph4, Isaac3, Isaac2, John1). Born on 21 Feb 1753.

She married Thomas Hurlburt, son of Thomas Hurlburt & Sarah Rice, on 28 Feb 1774. Baptized on 27 Mar 1748.

They had the following children:
i.  Thomas. Born on 8 Jan 1775. Died.
ii.  Abigail. Born on 14 Jul 1776.
She married James Lewis.
iii.  Mary. Born on 10 Sep 1777.
Unmarried.
