1267. William Myron Brooks (Sophia Johnson⁸, Phineas⁷, Samuel⁶, Henry⁵, Isaac⁴, Isaac³, Isaac², John¹). Born LaPorte, Ohio, on 5 Mar 1835. Died Los Angeles, California, on 22 Nov 1924.

William Myron was graduated from Oberlin College in 1857. He was Principal of Tabor College, Iowa in 1857 and several years thereafter, as well as County Superintendent of Schools.

He married Adeline Jones, on 17 Jan 1860.

They had the following children:

		i.	Raymond C.. Raymond Brooks, Ph.D., was a Professor at the Univ. of Calif. at Berkeley, Calif. in 1915; later he was President of Cummock School.
		ii.	A daughter.
		iii.	A daughter.
