The above cut show's the house, with some additions, which was built, by John Johnson, Jr., about 1803, in the town of Plymouth, Vt. It is probably the same house in which John Johnson, Sr., and Ruth lived during the latter part of their lives, as they lived, to the year 1810.

The cut is from a photograph which I took in the summer of 1901.

After the death of John Johnson the house passed into the hands of Capt. Moses Pollard, whom son, James Addison Pollard, married Josephine Hall, a granddaughter of Ruth Johnson<2>, and has been the home of some of the Pollard family to time present time.
