Research: The identity of the wife of Evan RAGLAND Sr. is not supported by any known document, but is apparently founded on conjecture based on naming patterns of RAGLAND descendants. Various family histories name her as Susanna PETTUS, daughter of Stephen PETTUS of New Kent Co., VA around 1680. Any evidence identifying the wife of Evan RAGLAND Sr, or that Stephen PETTUS had a daughter named Susanna is desired.
