She is widow of David Snowden, Revolutionary pensioner, who died June 2, 1839. They were married April 1782 by a Baptist preacher by the name of William Woods. She knows of no record of her marriage, but she thinks the family record is in possession of her son James Snowden in adjoining county. Signed - Nancy (her mark) Snowden.

Pension W9308 of David Snowden. Submitted 1850 in support of sister's pension. Eli Hazelrigg, Bath county, Kentucky, aged 67, deposes that he is brother of Nancy Snowden and that he was at the home of their fther when Nancy married David Snowden. His father moved from Virginia to Red Stone Fort in Pa. in 1781 and Nancy married not long thereafter, he was too young to remember. In 1784 his father moved to Kentucky and settled on Boone Creek, fayette county and several years later David Snowden and family moved to Kentucky and lived a year or so with my father then moved into his own house. Sold that and moved to Estill county, where he died, signed Eli Hazelrigg.
