Will dated 15 Oct 1832, proved 3 Dec 1832:
I Nancy Wingfield of the County of Albermarle and State of Virginia do hereby make this my Last Will and Testament in manner and form following that is to say.
1 Item ~ I wish all my just debts to be paid out of my estate before any divisions shall be made thereof also my funeral expenses to be paid.
2 I give to my Daughter Mary S. Hudson one negro Girl named Roda during her life and after her death the said negro Girl Roda to go to Caroline Hudson and the heirs of the body forever.
3 I give to my daughter Sarah M. Stewardson one negro girl named Tammy during her life and at her death to go to Sarah W. Stewardson and the Heirs of her body forever.
4 I give to my son Joseph F. Wingfield one negro Girl named Julia during his life and at his death to go to Joseph F. Wingfield his son.
5 I give to my daughter Amanda F. Wingfield one negro woman Dolly also her infant child without name at present and a negro woman named Lucy also one half all my stock and house hould and kitchen furniture and the heirs of boddy forever.
6. I give to my Son Edward W. G. Wingfield one negro girl named Betsy, one negro boy named Elisha also one feather bed and furniture forever.
7 I give to my Daughter Robina S.Martin one negro girl named Ann Eliza during her life and at her death to go to her Daughter Nancy Martin and the heirs of her body forever.
8 I give to my son Edward W. G. Wingfield and my daughter Amanda F. Wingfield my cart and oxen.
9 I give to my son John Wingfield my wheat fan also my Daughter Mary S. Hudson, Sarah M. Stewardson and eight dollars and two shillings.
10 If any of the above named ligaters should bering in any claims against my estate after my death they shall forfeit their interest in said estate.
11 I do hereby appoint my son Edward W. G. Wingfield and Thomas F. Wingfield my executors to this my Last will and Testament. Given under my hand and seal this fifteenth day of October Eighteen Hundred and Thirty two.
