at Nayland, Suffolk to Mrs. Elizabeth (BOND) PALMER (d. 1667,
Watertown, Suffolk Co., MA), widow of Samuel PALMER, and daughter of
Jonas and Rose BOND of Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk. Elizabeth's will was
dated June 11, 1664, naming Richard CHILD's wife and son Richard, and
Benjamin CHILD's wife. Ephraim and Elizabeth apparently had no children
surviving them.

CHILD and Sarah SHENTON of Cottesbach. Genealogy of the
Child Families, 1630-1881, by Elias Child includes the descendants
of Benjamin. He was a nephew of Ephraim Child of Watertown, Middlesex
Co., MA who bequeathed 40 acres of land to Benjamin's first son,
Ephraim. Came to America about 1648, probably in company with
his Uncle Ephraim and cousins Richard and John. Married about
1653, possibly at Roxbury, Suffolk Co., MA.
