Pratt Ancestry in England
Matthew J. Grow's article "A Belated Reply: The English
Origins of John and William Pratt of Connecticut" (NEHGR
149:374-378) provides information from the original Hertfordshire
records which corrects the birth date of John PRATT, son of Rev.
William PRATT, from 1620 to 1607 and makes it "extremely
probable" that he was the John PRATT of Hartford, CT. A pre-publication version of this article is available on the web site of the Jared Pratt Family Association.
